Requirements

  • Dealership management experience
  • Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and hold the sales team accountable to performance goals and standards
  • Work directly with customers and sales staff to build relationships and enhance the overall sales process
  • Assist in desking deals, structuring transactions, and closing new car deals and helping with used car deals when necessary
  • Train, coach, and mentor Sales Associates on proven sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Monitor and improve team productivity, including lead follow-up, appointments, and closing ratios
  • Support the development of each salesperson’s pipeline and customer base
  • Facilitate ongoing sales training and team development initiatives
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with F&I and other departments to ensure smooth deal flow and customer experience
  • Maintain expert knowledge of OEM programs, incentives, and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate application on all deals
  • Oversee new vehicle inventory management including ordering, aging, pricing strategy, and turn rate optimization
  • Support manufacturer initiatives, including sales events, launches, and CSI programs, to meet or exceed OEM benchmarks
