About The Position

We’re seeking a dynamic individual to lead the development of our New Business Portfolio innovation pipeline and take new brands to market through a strategic test-and-learn approach. This role is a unique opportunity to drive complex, challenging projects that prioritize quality, optimize resources, and deliver value-added opportunities to our enterprise. You’ll collaborate with diverse internal and external partners to identify and evaluate new opportunities while championing the principles of disciplined brand development. From establishing project timelines and milestones to defining core consumer audiences through research and interaction, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping brands that resonate deeply with consumers. You’ll lead the creation of strategic brand positioning, oversee the go-to-market planning, and refine concepts based on in-market insights, ensuring every step of the process is grounded in thoughtful execution and impactful innovation. In this role, you’ll also partner closely with cross-functional teams, creative agencies, and product development teams to bring brands to life, ensuring alignment between concept, consumer needs, and product fit. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage financial models, optimize budgets, and drive stakeholder collaboration will be key to success. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll identify opportunities to refine processes and iterate brand propositions based on market learning. Requirements

  • Masters degree plus 7 years of new brand development, marketing, new product development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of new brand development, marketing, new product development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State Issued Certificate plus 13 years of new brand development, marketing, new product development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of the following areas: RTD and Beer industries, consumer insights, alc beverage go-to-market dynamics, 3 tier distribution and corresponding channels.
  • Strong understanding of Pricing & Promotion.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, IRI, Spectra, SAP and Flex Reporting.
  • Strong sense of curiosity to understand and learn human behavior, cultures, and trends.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience working directly to influence all levels of management.
  • Required to travel 50% of the time.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration degree plus 8 years of Gallo new brand development or marketing innovation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • RTD/Beer industry knowledge.
  • Prior CPG or Beverage industry experience.
  • Experience writing project charters and leading project teams.
  • Experience training and developing junior level brand marketers in executing brand and organizational objectives.
  • Experience managing business operations and leveraging basic finance and accounting principles.
  • Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience performing work that is complex and varied in nature, requiring frequent evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
  • Experience leading, motivating and inspiring teams.
