New Business Agent (Workers Comp)
About The Position
The New Business Agent will initially concentrate on learning about our operations and product offerings. From there, responsibilities include all aspects of policy administration, providing knowledgeable support to our insureds, contributing to marketing strategies, and developing efficient internal processes. Our ideal candidate will find the opportunity personally satisfying and financially rewarding to create value in the day-to-day operations and continually improve our marketing, service, systems, and operations. This is an onsite role requiring onsite attendance in our Sacramento office Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm PST.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft products.
- Ability to work onsite in our Sacramento office Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm PST.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
- 2+ years of sales experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Field inbound sales leads and walk-in traffic.
- Follow up with prospects.
- Underwrite products and provide quotes based on customer needs.
- Process inbound payments received over the phone, mail, online, or fax.
- Work with the carrier to satisfy customer requirements.
- Assist clients in updating their accounts and policy-related items.
- Additional duties as the departments needs change.
