About The Position

We are looking to add to our dynamic team of sales associates! Harrisonburg Honda & Hyundai is locally owned with roots in the community. We are a dealership with very little turnover, and have a family atmosphere. Most of our team has been with us for 8+ years and we are ready to grow! Being of high character and having a strong work ethic is a MUST. You must work well with a TEAM and represent yourself and the dealership in a good light. HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT DOESN'T WORK ! We have an innovative compensation model and based on your production, you can make between $31,200 - $120,000 per year ! We provide you the tools and the training. Your income will be based on how you work your craft, so you must be coach-able and utilize the tools that are provided for your success!

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections
  • Have quality customer service skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dealership experience in a sales capacity a huge plus

Responsibilities

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
  • Build strong rapport with customers.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
  • Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Understanding of technology and ability to effectively communicate it to your client
