About The Position
The Neurovascular Sonographer I reports to the Neurovascular Lab Coordinator. Under limited supervision the Neurovascular Sonographer I supports the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department, ICE and Medical Center goals. Goals include achievement of clinical and quality measures, operational efficiency, financial targets as well as population/age specific needs of the department. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program of Vascular technology or the equivalent
- Registered as an RVT by ARDMS or as RVS by CCI is required and must be maintained
- One year of Vascular Ultrasound work experience is required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
