The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being Allen Hospital is a 204-licensed bed Level III trauma center Established practice with increasing patient volume Balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, and new decorated clinic space. Excellent subspecialty support Cohesive team of experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff Flexible scheduling with dedicated administrative time 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
  • J-1 waiver sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Autonomy while benefiting from the support of a highly collaborative team
  • 3 days in clinic (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) and 2 days in surgery
  • No in-office procedures required
  • Dedicated full-time intraoperative neuromonitoring locally
  • Spine-only practice with outpatient surgical options available at a Surgery Center
  • Mentorship available for new providers
