UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital is a 204-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency patients and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience. UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown opened a new hospital in Marshall County in April 2022, offering the latest technology and state-of-the-art medical facility. In addition, it has primary care clinics located in Marshalltown, Conrad, State Center and Tama-Toledo and an Express Clinic in Marshalltown. PRN Emergency Medicine opportunity Serve a diverse population in the Allen Hospital and Marshalltown Hospital Emergency Departments Cohesive and experienced group of colleagues Dedicated staff and specially trained nurses in providing emergency adult and pediatric care, as well as in trauma and resuscitation Scribe service available Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

  • Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine residency trained physician
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal license to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
