When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You'll join a well-established group of Neurosurgeons and experienced APPs. In this role you can anticipate: Practicing at Wellington Neurosurgery Clinic and St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado Clinic Hours: Mon-Thurs, 7a-5p (closed for lunch hour) General Neurosurgery coverage for a busy high acuity trauma center Splitting time between the clinic, the OR, and on the trauma team; to include first-assisting in surgical cases, inpatient rounding, neurosurgery trauma shifts, clinic new-patient and follow-up appointments, etc. Rotating weekend (Fri-Sun) coverage with other APPs in the group (1:4-5) Neurosurgery Trauma is 24/7 coverage, 12-hour shifts (shift expectation adjustable depending on candidate interest; rotating weekends is mandatory for all APPs on the Neurosurgery team) Complement an interventional pain practice Comfort with complex spine How we'll support you: We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package. Requirements
