JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Physician – Neurosurgery • Job Type: Permanent • Location: Carrollton, GA and Villa Rica, GA • Service Setting: Inpatient | Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday (specific schedule TBD) • On-Call Shift Schedule: 1:4 rotation • Call Type: In-House/Beeper (TBD) • Call Ratio: 1:4 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: General Neurosurgery with Cranial and Spinal procedures FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Robotics available at both hospitals • Specialty Backup Available: Full hospital support • Support Staff Available: Neurosurgery team, OR staff, RNs, APPs • Reason for Coverage: Group expansion PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: TBD • Credentialing Timeline: TBD COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: $750,000 base salary • Signing Bonus: $50,000 • Start Date Incentive: $50,000 • Relocation & Benefits: $14,000 relocation allowance + full benefits • Partnership: Full partnership offered in 2 years REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Cranial Surgery • Spinal Surgery • Use of Robotics
Requirements
- Active GA license (or willingness to obtain)
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Active DEA Certification
- BLS, ACLS
- Cranial and Spinal Neurosurgery experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Robotic surgery proficiency preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide general neurosurgical care including cranial and spinal procedures
- Participate in 1:4 call rotation
- Perform surgeries at both Carrollton and Villa Rica hospitals
- Utilize available robotics for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with neurosurgery group and hospital staff
- Work toward full partnership within two years
