Requirements

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
  • Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply - the practice provides comprehensive training and mentorship.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in neurosurgery or surgical specialties preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inpatient neurosurgery consults and follow-ups (average 4 per day; volume varies).
  • Serve as first assist in the operating room, primarily responsible for assisting with procedures and performing wound closure.
  • Participate in outpatient clinic for pre- and post-operative patient management.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care.
