About The Position

The Neuropsychology Technician in the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) Walker Family Clinic works under general supervision and is responsible for collecting patient information, maintaining patient information, conducting tests and/or procedures that the employee is certified to administer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with appropriate coursework required for certification through the State of Arkansas Psychology Board
  • Eligible for licensure as a Neuropsychology Technician

  • Licensed as a Neuropsychology Technician through the State of Arkansas Psychology Licensing Board

Responsibilities

  • Assists literary research, reviews charts, and completes data entry.
  • Compiles written observations of patient behavior and enters test scores into medical records.
  • Interprets data for Neuropsychologist to assess patient's needs, organization's capability to provide care or treatment, and the appropriate level of care.
  • Trouble-shoots testing situations and administers tests developmentally appropriate for the adult.
  • Adapts test administration to the specific needs of each patient while staying within the standardized procedures and time set forth for each specific test.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
