About The Position
We are looking to add a Neurophysiology Technologist at Baptist, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN weekends opportunity. As the Neurophysiology Technologist, you will perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies. At Baptist, we specialize in advanced neurodiagnostic care, offering innovative technology and services such as long-term epilepsy monitoring and intraoperative neuromonitoring. You will provide service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care. This EEG Technologist will be located at Baptist Jacksonville. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) is Required within One Year of Date of Hire
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree
- One-Two Years EEG Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing EEG studies.
- Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests.
- Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
- Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care.
- Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle.
