The CNP Technologist II functions as the multi-skilled component of the neurodiagnostic laboratories' technical staff performing electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment and must demonstrate competency, skill and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of Neurodiagnostics experience.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities including above average communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs.
  • Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to apply.
  • Registries include specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.).
  • Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
