Our Emergency and Specialty hospital is under one roof. We have eight different specialties including oncology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, surgery, anesthesia, neurology and rehabilitation. We are fortunate to have over FIFTEEN board certified veterinarians and a technical team of over FORTY certified technicians. Shift Details = 4/ 10 hour shifts each week, no weekends!

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
  • Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed.
  • Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for veterinary medicine
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast- paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • experience in anesthesia monitoring and recovery including EKG, SP02, and Doppler equipment, performing sterile scrub, and assisting doctors throughout a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Handle many aspects of client communication with regard to informational calls, client follow-up, and general questions about their in-hospital or at-home pet’s status.
  • Compassion, patience, professionalism, and kindness to all clients whether in person or on the phone, is a must.
