About The Position

Position Summary Responsible for performing EEG procedures Responsible for performing EMG procedures preferred. Performs EEG procedures and processes studies. Provides necessary readings and makes a record of readings for review Maintains EEG equipment and supplies. Performs intraoperative nerve monitoring. Completes documenting and charging responsibilities, report process Provides operating room monitoring and technical support to other technicians in the setting of intraoperative nerve monitoring. Report results to the physician for interpretation in the OR Preferred assisting physician in performing standard and complex Nerve Conduction and EMG procedures. Recognizes clinically significant events and follows facility policy and procedures regarding critical test results.
