The Role Our client is seeking a Telecommunication Technician to analyze complex local and wide area network systems. You will plan, design, and configure operating systems for virtualized and containerized environments while resolving interoperability issues across host and guest nodes. This role involves configuring cloud servers and networking hardware from vendors like Cisco and Juniper, supporting hardware acquisitions, and providing technical leadership to junior staff.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, VMWare, QEMU, KVM, Docker, and Linux/OpenStack.
  • Strong background in Cisco or Juniper networking equipment, telephony, and software-defined networking.
  • TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required.

Nice To Haves

  • CCNA or RHCSA preferred.
