Network Technician (Jr. Level) Job Description: Proactive network monitoring and first level of support to network incidents for night shift. Proactively work with Network Engineers and Cable Technicians on network incident prevention and service restoration. Basic troubleshooting, escalation to network team within SLA, keeping up with communication until resolution. Network equipment configuration, and replacement of faulty network equipment under Network Team’s guidance. Participate as a buddy check for network engineers during night change windows. Provide occasional extended hours support during high projects season, and during site maintenance day. Respond to incidents within SLA. Follow SOPs, create reports as requested, update management systems, and effectively communicate with team members and management. Creation of daily pass down report. Why work at BTI?
