About The Position

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABLILITES: (90%) Assist in the design and implementation of security controls to address risks in the environment. This includes, but not limited to, the configuration and management of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Endpoint Threats, Application Security, and Vulnerability Management. Assist in the design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks. Monitor and analyze security related events, alerts and investigations. Monitor and analyze system performance, system reliability and security. Troubleshooting of issues and testing across multiple platforms and applications. Generate reports from various security systems as needed. Support incident response efforts by identifying, analyzing, and escalating potential security threats. Help maintain and promote security policies, procedures, and training materials. Assists with special projects as directed by Management. Participates in an on-call rotation with other IT staff members. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: (10%) Travel to other branches as needed to support ongoing technological initiatives. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required training. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in IT security, and experience in providing desktop/network support.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced security technologies, such as firewalls, endpoint threat protection, log monitoring, and other security tools.
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, access points, VOIP devices, and other communication devices.
  • Working knowledge of ticketing and change management software.
  • Technical abilities to create, develop, and manage bank applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Resourceful, well organized and ability to multi-task.
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ethical focus.
