About The Position
The Network & Systems Engineer will be responsible for assisting with design, implementation, and management of both network and systems infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our organization's IT environment. This role requires a strong technical background in both networking and systems administration, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting Network and Servers required
- Knowledgeable in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V required
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and routing required
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash for automation tasks required
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices required
- Must be able to work with low voltage cabling (Copper/Fiber/Coax), and know the difference between the types
- A valid Drivers License and daily access to an automobile required
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with Cisco CLI preferred
- Experience with SD-WAN preferred
