Prior work experience in a venture-backed company is a big plus. Responsibilities: Design and develop data path solutions for L3 (IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, SR/SRv6, VRF, L3VPN) and L2 (STP, LLDP, sFlow, LAG, MLAG) networking technologies. Architect and implement QoS features, including queueing, classification, policing, shaping, ACL, ECN, and WRED. Work with ASIC families (e.g., BCM XGS, BF Tofino) and develop software using BCM SDK, P4, and DPDK. Optimize and enhance Linux networking internals, including memory management, network stack, and hardware abstraction layers (RIB, FIB, HAL). Develop and maintain high-availability (HA) solutions, ISSU, and Linux-based networking systems. Work on Debian packaging, Linux kernel modifications, and kernel networking stack optimizations. Develop and integrate software for containerized and virtualized networking environments.
