Manage End-of Train (EOT) device asset distribution and produce standardized maintenance instructions drawings that meet or exceed all federal and state laws, rules and regulations, CSX Transportation (CSXT) operating rules, Association of American Railroads (AAR) regulations. Participate in Railroad industry meetings as applicable. Serve as secondary communications interface for internal customers for all field related Communications projects. Assist with the enhancements and support to End-of-Train (EOT), My Engineering Life (MEL), and Master Engineering Asset Database (MEAD) systems. Collaborate with the Network Operations and Back Office Systems Managers and provide comprehensive assistance in managing network and server infrastructure activities for the Next Generation Dispatch (NGD) Internet Protocol (IP) Network as well as the Positive Train Control (PTC) IP Network. Ensure activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations. Perform other adhoc duties as assigned.
