About The Position

Network Engineer The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and sof t war e requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, an experience d network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network our Air Force client needs. As a Network Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in system interoperability, OSI model, and server and network application administration to support the nation’s defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries. You’ll develop spe cia lized infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You’ll apply your expertise in administration, routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, and system interoperability as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of network equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in cryptographic equipment, sof t war e and hard war e firewalls, Cisco hard war e and sof t war e, Palo Alto hard war e and sof t war e cloud integration, and SolarWinds, you’ll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions. Requirements

5+ years of experience supporting network switching and routing
5+ years of experience c ond ucting systems architecture analyses and implementing follow-on recommendations
Experience designing Integrated Systems Architecture with secure, hyper-converged, and classified compute and data environments
Experience with VoIP, Cisco products, and Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall ( NGFW ) systems
Experience supporting virtual networking using VM War e vSphere or Horizon
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification
