About The Position

Sentinel is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team. As Network Engineer you will be responsible for providing network support and administrative functions for one of Sentinel’s national customers. The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, have a strong technical background, and be very customer oriented. This role does have an on call rotation every 5-6 weeks. This position can be remote, with occasional onsite support required at our Downers Grove, IL headquarters.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a network engineer or similar role
CCNA certification is required
Experience with Cisco, F5, Palo Alto and Meraki is required
Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience working with a ticketing system, ServiceNow preferred
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
