REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in a similar role; or An additional six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree; or An Associate’s Degree plus an additional four (4) years of relevant experience. Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+ or CCNA)
• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise network environments (LAN/CAN/WAN).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot network/system issues and coordinate incident resolution across multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with:
• AWS (particularly EC2 and VPC)
• DNS/BIND
• Linux command-line operations and troubleshooting

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with:
• Cisco IOS
• F5 BIG-IP
• Palo Alto hardware and software
• Experience with scripting and automation, especially Ansible.
• Experience designing and planning new network environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate hardware, software, and other network-related problems to ensure availability and performance.
• Provide technical expertise for the performance and/or configuration of enclave networks and supporting systems.
• Perform general LAN/CAN/WAN administration and support, including:
• Switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
• Schedule, coordinate, and execute firmware upgrades and hardware migrations in accordance with change management practices.
• Coordinate with responsible users, system owners, and external organizations to drive timely resolution of network or system incidents.
• Support DNS services, including configuration and maintenance of BIND.
• Perform Linux-based operational and troubleshooting tasks using common command-line utilities.
• Support AWS cloud environment activities, with emphasis on EC2 and VPC fundamentals (connectivity, routing, and troubleshooting).
• Contribute to operational efficiency through scripting and automation; Ansible experience is a plus.
