About The Position

As a Network Engineer, you will be pivotal in evaluating, engineering, designing, and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Data Centre networks. Collaborating with the Network Engineering, Enterprise Computing, and Security teams, you will understand applications and provide end-to-end network solutions adhering to firm standards. Authoring design documents, engineering standards, and creating best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends. Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization. Serve as an escalation for the operating teams during network outages. Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able explain network design, articulate risk, and facilitate decision making. Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale networks in a Financial Services Firm, Technology vendor, or systems integrator.
Expertise in Ethernet technologies, Multilayer Switching, IP Routing (RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, TCP/IP), Multicast routing (PIM, IGMP, MSDP), VxLAN, and Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms.
Platform knowledge on Cisco Nexus 9000 Series, ASR 1000x Series Routers, ASR 9000 Series Routers, and Arista Switching platforms.
Working knowledge of various Network OS such as Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, and Arista EOS.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook) and UNIX/Linux.
Strong presentation skills
Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.
