About The Position

Network Engineer to join our team in Washington D.C. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering or administration
Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Cisco IOS
Familiarity with network security principles and best practices
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus

Responsibilities

Design and implement network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network solutions that align with business needs
Conduct regular network upgrades and updates to improve performance and security
Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT team members
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking technology
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
