About The Position

Advance your career on one of the nation’s most important ISR programs. Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support complex, classified network operations at Fort Meade. What You’ll Do Manage and secure LAN/WAN environments across SIPR, NIPR, and other classified networks Maintain C4I infrastructure, cryptologic equipment, routers, switches, fiber, and network hardware Implement security patches, TCNO updates, STIGs, and OS upgrades Troubleshoot complex network, VoIP, and interoperability issues Support users, leadership, and help desk operations; track and resolve trouble tickets Maintain network maps, configurations, backups, and contingency plans Investigate malware/unauthorized software and ensure compliance with DoD cyber requirements Install, integrate, and test new or modified hardware, software, and network components

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. 4+ additional years of related experience OR advanced IAT level III certifications ( CISSP, CASP+, or CCNP ) may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • TS/SCI (polygraph required after hire)
  • Experience managing classified/unclassified networks, routing/switching, authentication services, and network security
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent)
  • Experience applying security patches and TCNO updates

Nice To Haves

  • Current polygraph
  • Cisco/Juniper experience (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS)
  • Experience with SolarWinds, Junos Space, STIGs, Cisco ISE, PowerShell DHCP
  • Knowledge of DoD networks, VoIP, VMWare VMCP, and SecureView environments
