About The Position

Network Engineer The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data, connect command and control systems, and enable networks to achieve their mission requirements, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and software while implementing security standards requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to design and deploy network infrastructure that can support dynamic tasking and meet varied requirements. As a Network Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network design and architecture to support the client’s multiple persistent and episodic networks that support Joint, Service, and Coalition experiments, demonstrations, and test and evaluation events. You’ll design, configure, upgrade, and maintain network specific infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Your knowledge of Department of War (DoW) Enterprise Network Design and Architecture will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in software and hardware firewalls, Cisco hardware, cloud migration, optical infrastructure networking, and virtual routing and forwarding, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.
