The responsibilities of the Network Support Engineer shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Provide full network management including monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and suggesting improvements for security and network performance Research and develop new or expanded systems; architect and design infrastructure; assist in creating and implementing technology standards and policies; analyze user requirements and operations constraints; perform unit test, system integration and user acceptance testing Perform routine back-ups and file recovery tasks Add, delete, modify, and maintain network accounts as requested Add, delete, modify, and maintain e-mail accounts as requested Research and suggest proactive solutions that will increase the efficiency, integrity, security, and effectiveness of the network Document tasks, procedures, environments for setting up and maintaining systems Troubleshoot any issues with Hardware, Software, or the network Configure, install, and maintain Hardware as requested Provide capacity planning for Hardware Research, evaluate, test, recommend for approval, and implement approved available updates to Hardware and Software Work cooperatively with other vendor personnel to maintain connectivity Follow and promote use of industry best practices, standards, and procedures Assist the Application Support Vendor, as necessary Assist Project Managers, as necessary.
