About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer in Tampa, FL. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SDN, and OT networks, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Cisco network technologies, ensuring secure and efficient operations through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting Lead and develop the Technology Network team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering a high-performance culture Utilize data and metrics to guide decision-making, track KPIs, review SLAs, and continuously improve network performance and project outcomes Ensure network security and compliance by developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry regulations Manage the Technology Network budget and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective solutions and successful contract negotiations Drive operational excellence by creating and optimizing processes, procedures, and automation to improve efficiency and service delivery Day-to-Day: Main functions: patching/upgrading Cisco network equipment (routers/switches) Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points across Replace routers and switches at client sites Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless installation and configuration of server and storage infrastructure Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve server, network, DDoS protection, and NetScaler load balancer issues Provide project leadership and consult with peers on security-related matters 8-10 years of experience planning/designing, implementing, and supporting new and existing network Devices Experience with Cisco routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points Experience patching/upgrading Cisco network equipment (routers /Switches) Router/switch configurations/break-fix

Responsibilities
