Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking either a Principal Network Engineer (Level 3) or a Senior Principal Network Engineer (Level 4) to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. In this role, you will provide network technical expertise to a large Space Program. What you'll get to do: Design, deployment and maintenance of networks. Interface with other groups to gain a heightened understanding of customer network requirements to include implementation of DISA STIGs. Ancillary duties will include, but are not limited to: evaluation of vendor products, providing recommendations to purchase hardware and software, providing backup recovery, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, building of systems and computing asset management. Architect and assist in the successful deployment of international networks. Implement Cyber requirements via STIG automation. Integration of networks / time servers and other network devices. Assist with integrating products within labs and development environments. Help to maintain the information assurance posture of the system. Formulate innovative solutions to problems as they arise.
