Requirements

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of relevant professional Network Engineering experience or, Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of experience. Candidates without a Bachelors or Masters Degree will be considered on a case by case basis and will require 12 or more years of hands-on Network Engineering experience.
An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.
Solid grasp of secure network design, configuration, and maintenance
Experience with performance monitoring tools and data analysis
Ability to optimize complex systems for speed and reliability
IAT Level I certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant)
Clearance Requirement – Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Nice To Haves

Experience in classified or mission-critical environments
Familiarity with enterprise-scale architecture and secure communications

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy secure, high-performance network solutions
Keep our LANs running smoothly with hands-on administration and troubleshooting
Monitor and optimize dataflow to reduce latency and boost throughput
Capture and analyze network performance data to drive improvements
Configure and integrate front-end and back-end systems for seamless communication
Collaborate on mission-driven network designs and architecture
Translate performance metrics into actionable system requirements
