Currently, DPRA is searching for a Network Engineer in our Knoxville, Tennessee office location. This full-time position will design and build computing platforms, applications and networks operating in a hybrid environment both on premise and in the cloud.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Minimum of two years' of experience in performing the job functions
DoD Secret Clearance, and ability to obtain U.S. government Top Secret Clearance.
Ability to support and manage Active Directory 2012 R2 and newer and Azure AD
Ability to Design, deploy, manage and support Azure and AWS solutions and services
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Exchange or Hosted Exchange
Demonstrated knowledge of O365 Administration
Demonstrated knowledge of Routers, Firewalls and L2Managed switchtes
Demonstrated knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESXi, Horizon View)
Demonstrated knowledge of supporting Windows operation systems (Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 and Windows 10 & 11 desktops)
Demonstrated knowledge of backup solutions such as Backup Exec and Veeam
Basic understanding of Windows PowerShell
Basic understanding of Terminal Servers, MS RDS Deployments
Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification Required (CompTia Security+)

Responsibilities

Researches technical components of system architecture for on premise environments and Cloud services/tenants
Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies governing information assurance
Monitors, maintains and installs Third Party software and Operating System security updates
Monitors, maintains and ensure complete information and data backup of all test and development environments
Engages with Security Engineers to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated
Deploys major and minor releases and hotfixes of company developed software to all test and development environments
Develops and maintains documentation of all test and development environments to include build and configuration documents for servers within the environments
