This is for a future opportunity MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent education and years of experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering
• In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS
• Experience in multi-level security networks including cross-domain solutions
• Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent
• Master's Degree
• Knowledge of automation and scripting tools like Python or Ansible
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Project management skills to lead initiatives from start to finish
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical projects

• Design and implement complex network solutions that drive innovation
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve advanced network issues quickly and efficiently
• Optimize network performance and security to meet the highest standards
• Mentor junior network engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering growth
• Participate in strategic planning to shape the future of our network infrastructure
• Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networks
• Plans, designs, installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, modifies, and supports network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability
