FWI is building a team to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network, which provides the IT environment for 100% of DLIFLC teaching and instruction for all students, staff, faculty, and guests. This position will serve as the Government's senior network architect and Extreme Networks specialist, bridging network infrastructure design, performance optimization, and strategic planning to maintain reliable voice, data, and wireless services. The Network Engineer V will lead network planning and problem identification, optimize Extreme Network hardware and software, reduce latency, enhance scalability, provide knowledge transfer to IT staff, and ensure the military language training community receives a high-performance, resilient network infrastructure that supports their mission-critical educational operations.
