Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Network Engineer – SME to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina . Responsibilities: As a Network Engineer - SME , you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: Provides strategic technical and management leadership for defining the overarching vision, policies, and architectural standards for C2ISR Integration Facility network support across the entire enterprise. Establishes enterprise-level goals and long-range strategic plans for the development and validation of integration facilities, ensuring network infrastructure supports the most complex C2ISR hardware and software integration requirements. Serves as the principal authority on network architecture for Tactical Data Centers, advanced multi-tenancy, containerization, and virtualization within integration laboratory environments. Directs and controls all network infrastructure initiatives within integration facilities, holding ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, resource allocation, and process methodologies to support C2ISR system design, development, integration, and evaluation. Leverages deep domain and expert technical knowledge to conduct comprehensive network architectural reviews, develop advanced mitigation strategies for integration network vulnerabilities, and integrate innovative, proactive networking solutions (e.g., AI-driven network optimization for labs). Engages in high-level client negotiations and strategic interfacing with senior management, shaping network policies, resource allocation, and technical standards with critical impact on C2ISR mission effectiveness and the speed of capability development. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Network Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the C CMD leve l
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with a BS /BA degree or 6 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 5 years’ experience with a Ph.D. OR 12 years without a degree OR 10 years with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is DOD 8140 Compliance based on functional role for WRC: 441 Network Operations Specialist, Advanced Level / ability to obtain

Nice To Haves

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience with a BS /BA degree or 10 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 7 years’ experience with a Ph.D., OR 16 years without a degree OR 14 years with AS/AA
