This internship offers an opportunity to explore and understand the Network engineering and architecture landscape across Bose Enterprise, gain exposure to firewall, VPN, and network-security controls, build analytical, communication, and presentation capabilities, and understand network operations and change management. The intern will deliver tangible technical contributions aligned to infrastructure goals and learn organizational ITSM processes.
Requirements
- Pursuing undergraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or Cybersecurity
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols
- Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar tools
- Must have previous internship experience
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Explore and understand Network engineering and architecture landscape across Bose Enterprise
- Gain exposure to firewall, VPN, and network-security controls
- Build analytical, communication, and presentation capabilities
- Understand network operations and change management
- Deliver tangible technical contributions aligned to infrastructure goals
- Learn organizational ITSM process (ServiceNow / equivalent)
- Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify improvement areas
- Gain exposure to monitoring tools and alert configurations
- Define and deliver a focused project (e.g., firewall cleanup, monitoring dashboard, config automation)
- Present final project and experience summary to the Infra Engineering team
