Overview The Network Engineer I provides IT infrastructure engineering for data center and infrastructure upgrades, changes, troubleshooting, relocation and migra tions specializing in advanced Cisco and other vendors solutions.
Requirements
- Must have extensive hands on experience w ith aforementioned technologies
- Must have extensive knowledge of high performance data center solutions, network infrastructure LAN/WAN, Switching, Routing , and ente rprise wireless infrastructures
- P re-sales expert and will engage the sales force in pre-sal es and post sales opportunities
- Expert knowledge of Cisco Routers (ISR GEN1/2), Switches (including NEXUS and Catalyst Line), Security Ap pliances (ASA, IPS, MARS, NAC).
- Advanced knowledge of WAN Circuits, MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, FR/ATM, ACLs, TCP/IP, IPX
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting VLANs using CISCO equipment, to include intimate knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN Trunking Protocol, inter-VLAN routing, IPV6 a nd trunking with ISL and 802.1q
- Strong knowledge of VPN IPSec /SSL solutions and hands-on deployment experience
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, NXOS, ASA and other technical configurations
- Experience with monitoring, alerting and management tools such as: ScienceLogic, Labtech
- Knowledge of Cisco's IP Telephony and wireless product line. Specifically how to provision networks for deployment of these tech nologies and how to secure them
- Nexus experience: 7K, 5K, 2K, 1K
- Security (ASA/PCI) experience (Preferred)
- Cisco Experience (4507s-vss, 3750s, Palo Alto, MPLS, VPLS, PSTN, LAN, and Riverbed
- Strong customer facing and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with F5 a plus
- Cisco Certified (CCNA/CCNP) in any discipline

Responsibilities
- Deploys, migrates, and documents post-sales engagement with customers b ased on ConvergeOne best practices
- Works with a world class network integrator
- Assist s in the delivery of support and services to cust omer’s expectations as proposed
- Troubleshoots high end i ssues with networking and wireless infrastructures
- Assist s in determining specifi c customer network requirements
- Assist s in developing specific network and wireless solutions
- Assist s in developin g detailed implementation plans
- Assists the sales team w ith requests for bids/proposals
- Creates Statements of Work (SOW's) for proposals, installations and changes
- Follow s up with Cisco TAC and other vendor for escalation
- Participate s in special projects deployment
- Handle s Change Management for customers
- Ensures a vailability for On-Call escalation
