What this job involves – Design, implement, and maintain our data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise-level networking technologies and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What is your day to day? Design and implement data center network architectures Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions Perform network capacity planning and performance tuning Manage network security and implement best practices Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects Maintain documentation of network configurations and topology Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data center networking
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies
  • Expertise with Cisco networking equipment and IOS
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • CCNP or equivalent industry certification
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

  • CCIE certification
  • Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
  • Knowledge of data center technologies (SAN, load balancing, VDI)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.

Responsibilities
