About The Position

As a member of the "Network Infrastructure" team, you will be responsible for the assessment, installation, support, and maintenance of low voltage/data cabling and equipment associated with the hospital network systems. The ideal candidate will be a competent individual with a great passion for technology with an analytical mindset that is essential for effective troubleshooting while contributing to the overall infrastructure installation. The primary goal is to create and sustain a well-functioning and reliable network to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the healthcare systems while considering EIA/TIA Standards and OSHA regulations and requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in engineering preferred.
  • 0 – 3 years of experience.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication ability.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with fiber optic single-mode/multi-mode cable: rough-in; labeling; terminations; and, testing is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in EIA/TIA and NEC cabling standards installation preferred
  • BICSI ICT Cabling Installation or CNCI (Certified Network Cable installer) preferred
  • Certification in Fiber Optic Installations preferred
