We are excited for the opportunity to bring aboard highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our teams. Currently, we are seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator - Intermediate. This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD. Job Description and Responsibilities: Cisco Software Defined Architecture (SDA): Expertise in deploying and managing Cisco SDA solutions for enterprise networks. Proficient in configuring Cisco DNA Center for network automation, assurance, and policy enforcement. Skilled in implementing software-defined access (SD-Access) for secure segmentation and simplified network management. Experience in integrating SDA with existing network infrastructure to enhance scalability and agility. Knowledge of fabric technologies, including VXLAN, LISP, and TrustSec, for secure and efficient data transport. Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE): Advanced knowledge of Cisco ISE for network access control and policy enforcement. Proficient in configuring and managing ISE for endpoint profiling, authentication, and authorization. Expertise in implementing 802.1X authentication for wired, wireless, and VPN users. Skilled in integrating ISE with Active Directory, LDAP, and other identity management systems. Experience in deploying posture assessment and remediation policies to ensure endpoint compliance. Knowledge of ISE integration with third-party security tools for enhanced threat detection and response. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, etc.). Proficiency in network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems. Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime). Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud networking (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to document network designs, configurations, and policies effectively. Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior engineers and support team development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • One of the following: Cloud+, Security+, GISCP, GSEC, or SSCP.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, etc.).
  • Proficiency in network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud networking (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to document network designs, configurations, and policies effectively.

  • Top Secret clearance (must be a US Citizen).

Nice To Haves

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise.
  • Additional certifications in cybersecurity or cloud technologies (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
