Requirements

  • Experience administering and managing DoD network and information systems
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and network environments
  • Experience with cybersecurity controls, patch management, and compliance
  • Familiarity with cloud, LAN/WAN, and database administration
  • DoD 8140/8570 compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, CISSP, or equivalent)
  • Ability to work in classified and secure environments
  • BS IRD + 7 years RE; or BS IRD + 5 years RE + IAT Level III; or MS IRD + 5 years RE; or MS IRD + 3 years RE + IAT Level III
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required. SCI eligibility may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, manage, and maintain classified, unclassified, and SAP network systems
  • Perform system and network patch management and apply operating system and software updates
  • Execute security controls, compliance activities, and continuous monitoring requirements
  • Document system and network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Perform network, server, and database administration and management
  • Manage access control, permissions, and account administration
  • Perform COMSEC and CryptoNet management duties as required
  • Configure and manage switches, firewalls, and network security devices
  • Support cloud-based system administration and hybrid environments
  • Perform software license management and equipment accountability
  • Develop and engineer IT solutions to support acquisition and program environments
  • Draft and maintain network architecture diagrams and technical documentation
  • Test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software systems
  • Support collaboration with MBSE and Government Reference Architecture efforts
  • Coordinate IT project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
