The Network/Cloud Architect will be responsible for architecting and managing enterprise-wide network connectivity across cloud environments (Azure, AWS), over 180 remote sites, and third-party services. This role involves designing and maintaining routing protocols (e.g., BGP), SD-WAN policies, and hybrid cloud networking integrations (Azure vWAN, AWS TGW). The architect will lead the design and continuous improvement of Azure and AWS architectures for scalability, performance, security, and cost-efficiency, identifying opportunities to refactor legacy IaaS workloads to PaaS, containers, or serverless where appropriate. A key aspect is establishing and governing modern tenancy standards, integrating compliance, tagging, and operational observability. The position requires managing the development, deployment, and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform and Ansible, building reusable modules, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines to support DevOps practices. Furthermore, the architect will design and implement resilient architectures with RTO/RPO-aligned disaster recovery strategies across cloud platforms, integrate DR policies, and drive quarterly DR testing and business continuity planning. This role also involves acting as a cloud and networking subject matter expert, coaching internal engineers, leading architecture reviews, partnering with enterprise architects, security, and application teams, and driving adoption of cloud and infrastructure best practices across the enterprise.
