About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Architect to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 14 years' system engineering experience with a BS degree. Degree must be in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• 5 additional years of related SE experience may be substituted for a BS degree, totaling 19 years of SE experience.
• Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• Understanding the architecture and connectivity options for the various Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) (Amazon, Azure, and Oracle) and TS, S, and U networks (Commercial and Gov’t clouds)
• Understanding carrier neutral datacenters for connectivity and transport options
• Experience in Express Route/VPN/Gateway, Fast Connect, Direct Connect/Transit Gateway
