Job Summary Responsible for network site planning, equipment deployment planning, deployment managing and basic design of network instances. Completes network deployment, manages contract teams in deployment, provisions and supports, wireless, Ethernet transport regional network serving residential and commercial customers. Responds to network incidents, determines resources needed for correction and corrects or leads team involved in resolving incident. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering and automation
  • Python expert with an understanding of Python web framework, preferably Django
  • API framework design
  • Experience with Databases like MySQL server, Postgre and Mongo db
  • Working knowledge of multi threading architecture
  • Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies AJAX, HTML
  • Familiarity with network automation frameworks and CI/CD workflows
  • Familiarity with Docker containers
  • Familiarity with Github/Confluence/Sharepoint

Responsibilities

  • Automation & Optimization: Leverage network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Git) to streamline configuration management, change validation, and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilize observability tools to monitor performance, analyze trends, and proactively resolve complex network issues.
  • Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to design network solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, and runbooks.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage hardware/software lifecycle and coordinate upgrades or replacements for end-of-life devices.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices.
