The Digital Systems Network Architect for Lockheed Martin's Edge Processing Center Of Excellence will establish, develop and lead the technology insertion and definition for LM space as well as multi-domain networking products. The individual is responsible for the selecting and defining technologies, interfaces, protocols, networking architectures, fault tolerance, self-healing, network management, and overall system architecture of current and next generation space networks enabling industry leading data transport, data fusion and cognitive capabilities on our space platforms. Successful candidates will: -Understand and develop architectures supporting multi-domain networks -Work with stakeholders to understand and establish requirements and decompose the requirements into executable architectures. -Be able to effectively communicate to stakeholders technical and programmatic trades of different technologies and architectures. -Provide technical leadership to select, design, and deliver space networking products, standards, and protocols. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant STEM degree from an Accredited University.
  • Experience in the development of networking technologies and products, including high speed networking.
  • Ability to develop multi-domain network solutions.
  • Active DoD TS Clearance to start with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with spacecraft electronics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with FPGA or Software development/test
