The ENOC Network Analyst/Network Engineer is an operations position supporting a large 24/7 enterprise network. The analyst will have a working knowledge of wired, wireless, VPN and authentication applications as they relate to the Wide Area and Local Area Network. The analyst must be able to work in a mission critical production environment. Must be able to analysis risk and react in the best interest of network stability. The Analyst will have excellent communication and collaboration skills working directly with federal customers and remote vendors. Must be able to configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper and Vital QIP network devices. Must be able to follow pre-defined process and workflow. The Analyst position requires attention to detail and documentation of all work performed. Primary Responsibilities Overall network engineering support for a broad range of programs including LAN/WAN/Firewall operations. Support level duties may include monitoring, installation, modification, testing and servicing of network equipment. Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Responsible for entire projects or processes within a technical area. Implementing technical solutions based on documented process and procedures. Collaborate with internal experts, analyze network performance and impact on end-users. Monitor network tools and dashboards to recognize network outages. Communicate with internal and client project team members. Escalate network problem to management, customers and vendors.
