About The Position

We are seeking a Network Administrator to oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role is responsible for administration, management and support of the IT infrastructure across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in networking, security, and systems administration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, firewalls, and network devices.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Ubiquiti Unifi administration includes LAN/WAN and wireless.
  • Physical networking, network/server racks, patch panels, Cat6 and Fiber.
  • Experience with internet circuit installation and ISP management.
  • Avanan email hygiene administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory group policy implementation and maintenance.
  • Access control management (Badge readers and surveillance cameras).

Responsibilities

  • System Administration:
  • Update, maintain and monitor physical servers, virtual servers and storage.
  • Administer Office 365, Active Directory, printer and copier configuration and troubleshooting, MDM and iPhone/iPad, Microsoft Teams.
  • Manage and support email hygiene tools.
  • Admin and monitor IT ticketing systems (ITSM) to best support company employees.
  • Maintain licensing pertaining to O365 and other critical applications.
  • Network Administration & Maintenance:
  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot company networks, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and wireless systems.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure optimal uptime and security.
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, switches and access points.
  • System Security & Compliance:
  • Enforce cybersecurity best practices to protect company data and IT assets.
  • Conduct regular system updates, patches, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and make recommendations based on industry’s best practices.
  • User Support & Training:
  • Provide technical support to employees for network-related issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to enhance IT support efficiency.
  • Monitor, update and maintain health of all corporate issued PCs (Win 10/11) this includes basic repairs as needed, setting up warranty work to be done by OEM, this includes remote PCs.
  • Provide support and maintenance on conference room technology.
  • Infrastructure & Vendor Management:
  • Manage IT hardware and software inventory, including procurement and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for network services, hardware, and software solutions.
  • Assist in IT project planning and implementation to support business growth.
