We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day support, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In this role, you will ensure the availability, security, and performance of IP-based networks that support mission-critical FAA systems.This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs. In this position, you will: Monitor and maintain FAA network infrastructure, ensuring uptime, performance, and security. Configure, install, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. Perform daily system monitoring, log analysis, and incident response. Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues, escalating when needed. Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and configuration records. Implement patches, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with FAA standards. Support integration of FAA networks with modernization initiatives and new systems. Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with NIST RMF, FISMA, and Zero Trust requirements. Provide technical input for system security plans (SSPs) and compliance reviews. Support disaster recovery, backup procedures, and network resiliency testing. Troubleshoot issues, manage configurations, and assist with upgrades, while ensuring all network services comply with FAA and federal cybersecurity standards. Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams. Assist with risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation activities. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience or Masters degree and 10 years or or Associate’s degree and 14 years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years experience.
  • Experience administering enterprise network systems.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network devices.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience monitoring networks with tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with wireless LAN/WAN technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience.
  • Familiarity with FAA or federal network standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting FAA, DOT, DHS, or DoD network environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS.
  • Familiarity with NextGen FAA modernization programs or air traffic systems.
