About The Position

Brandywine Realty Trust is seeking a Network Administrator. The position will be in-office and based in our headquarter office located in Philadelphia, PA. The network administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all networked systems and infrastructure. The individual in this position is responsible for maintaining robust cybersecurity measures, managing network updates, providing user training, and serving as a vital link between IT and the rest of the organization. Success in this role requires deep technical knowledge of a broad array of computer systems, hardware, and software, as well as the ability to support and advance the company's operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a network administration role.
  • Thorough understanding of networking concepts and computing infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with leading server management and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering user training and support.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Windows Server, Basic Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Microsoft 365 Cloud
  • Azure
  • Entra ID (Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access)
  • SCCM
  • Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, Configuration Profiles)
  • SharePoint Online (Permissions, Site Design), Microsoft Teams
  • VMWare
  • Cisco/Meraki

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Deliver comprehensive network support across all organizational operating systems.
  • Ensure reliable and consistent connectivity for all networked computers and devices.
  • Manage and facilitate backup solutions, including Backup as a Service.
  • Maintain network servers, including associated hardware, software, services, and system settings.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement upgrades for system performance and security.
  • Continuously monitor and troubleshoot the network to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Configure, adjust, and manage network user accounts, settings, and permissions.
  • Develop and update technical support documentation for network systems and applications.
  • Ability to collaborate with and support users across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned
